Weekday Training Runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Tuesday Evening "6 at 6:30" Runs Meet at the =PR= Store Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m.

A group meets at the =PR= Ashburn store on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. for a run of 50 minutes (or less). We typically go out and back based on time, so come out and join us -- for "6" or some other number of miles! Occasionally the group finds itself at a local restaurant to partake in some post-run refreshments. Join Us for a run!

As with our other runs, we attempt to assign Run Leaders for Tuesday evening runs. Please Contact Us at president@runashburn.org to volunteer.

Thursday Evening Runs

During the spring and fall when light permits (but the Summer All-Comer's Interval Sessions are NOT taking place), a group regularly meets to do an interval session on the W&OD. During these weeks/months, the workout will be posted on this page a by Wednesday each week.

Informal Group Intervals on the W&OD have returned to the W&OD on Thursday Evenings at 6:30 PM after the Summer All-Comer's Interval Sessions conclude in early September.

Workout for Thursday, October 23

10 mins @ threshold, jog 2-3 minutes recovery, 10 x 1:00 w/30 secs jog (so the whole segment will take 15 minutes), jog 2-3 minutes recovery 10 minutes @ threshold IF YOU CHOOSE

If you are racing MCM you should not be doing a workout -- 2-3 miles @ goal race pace at the most. Otherwise, aim to do the first 2 segments of the workout, and the third (second 10 minute) only if you are feeling good.)
